I’ve been going here for two years now with no problems. Dr Anderson was able to give me disposable contacts despite my severe astigmatism. My eye doctor growing up said it wasn’t possible without even trying, and my first eye doctor in Fort Collins attempted several times but to no avail.
Anderson is very quick at what he does and very accurate at the same time. They keep your pocketbook in mind, advising when it’s not worth getting extra vision insurance and using your primary insurance instead.
The online ordering system for contacts is quick and easy and so much cheaper! This year is the least I’ve ever had to pay for vision care!
I have been seeing Dr. Anderson for 16 years. He is very thorough, knowledgeable, and warm and friendly on top of that. His staff is also great. They all want to help you make the best decisions – from picking the right frames for your face, to helping with insurance and billing. I love this office so much that I continue to come here for my yearly exams, even though I moved to the East Coast in 2003! I just haven’t found a doctor in my area who I like and trust as much as Dr. Anderson.

I have been a patient of Dr. Anderson for 30 years. He is thorough and diligent in taking the best care of my eyes. His staff is friendly and caring and his equipment is second-to-none. I drive from Denver to Ft. Collins to see him and it’s worth every mile. He caught my glaucoma early and got it under control quickly. His office offers a wide range of frames and whether I choose the “latest and greatest” frames or the “I’m broke this year” frames, I know I’m getting the quality that I need for the best vision possible. I trust his advice and follow it. His staff is knowledgeable and caring and they keep in touch with me on a regular basis. I wouldn’t trust my eyesight to anyone else

Dr. Kevin Anderson is very, very thorough. He cares so much about his patients, he often does more than is necessary.

Dr. Anderson is the best Doctor of Optometry I have seen. I have been going to him yearly for over 16 years. He always dedicates a lot of time to discuss any issues I am having with my eyes. He is extremely thorough. He is a top notch Doctor.
I believe that my eye care is with the best doctor in Fort Collins. And possibly the best eye doctor I’ve had in my life. (I’ve worn glasses or contact lens since I was 8 years old, so I’ve seen many eye care physicians and been in their offices). Our grown children are out of state, but see Dr. Anderson for their eye check-ups. Highly recommend Dr. Anderson and his office.
Dr. Anderson has been my eye doctor for more than 10 years. He is very sensitive to my pocketbook as I don’t have insurance. I highly recommend him.
I have been going to Dr Anderson at Village Optical for over 15 years. I always look forward to the pleasant office with the very experienced staff. Once I had something in my eye and I called on a Sunday evening. Dr Anderson returned my call and met me at the office. I was so thankful that he took care of me and my eye was back to normal the next day. My contacts and glasses are great and they always make sure that I am happy with my eyewear. Thanks for all the help, especially with my difficult insurance. Looking forward to next year.
Great optometrist. Dr. Anderson is professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He explains everything well so that you leave knowing exactly what he did and why. His staff is also friendly and helpful, and are fantastic at helping with frame selection.

I have been a patient of Village Optical for over ten years. They have always worked with my schedule and have addressed any problems that I have. They give a very thorough exam. If I haven’t liked the frames that they offered they were willing to let me look at the frame book to order frames that they did not carry. I have had some personal issues this year and Dr. Anderson and his staff have always shown concern and compassion with my problems. The staff has gone above and beyond to help me with billing my insurance, both medical and VSP. I recommend Village Optical to my friends and family. I have never had an issue with the staff not willing to help. I would suggest to the folks that say they had problems to speak directly with Dr. Anderson.
My family and I have been seeing Doctor Anderson since 1997 and would not see anyone else. He and his staff are exremely personable and Dr. Anderson has the most sophisticated diagnostic equipment available. When I had an occular migraine and did not know what was happening, he saw me immediately without an appointment. I recently underwent eye surgery to repair a torn retina and trust the ongoing monitoring of my eyes to Dr. Anderson.

I’ve been going to Village Optical since 1995 and have never had a bad experience. The staff has always acted in a very friendly and professional manner and I have always referred friends to them.
I started seeing Dr. Anderson in 2007 and was impressed with the thoroughness of his exams, sophistication of his equipment. While I briefly left his services to be assisted by an MD (Dr. Anderson is an OD), I returned after finding out that his refraction exams yielded me much, much better and more accurate prescriptions than those through an MD’s office. I also found that his coordination of services with Omni Eye Center of Denver, where their specialized ophthalmologists (MDs) come to Fort Collins to deal with the medical issues that Dr. Anderson identifies ended up meeting all my eye-related medical needs. I continue to be impressed by Dr. Anderson’s care and referral network and trust the results of his sophisticated exam equipment and his evaluation of my eyes’ conditions. Both he and his staff have been excellent to deal with over the years and I’ve referred several friends to his service.
